3 Batsman Who Can Be Compared with Fab Four in Future!

The current top four batsmen Virat Kohli, Joe Root, Ken Williamson and Steven Smith are collectively called Fab Four. These four players have been performing well for the past few years in all the formats for their national teams.

All are quite young and they have many years of cricket left. They have already broken many records and there isn’t any doubt that they will break many more records in the coming times. Interestingly, these are the four top batsmen in the current ICC Test rankings.

They are technically capable and they have scored in different situations. In the test format, three out of these four leading their national teams. Now Smith has been banned for a year due to ball tampering, but there is no doubt that he is one of the best Test batsmen.

But there are also many emerging batsmen who can give a tough fight to the Fab Four in the future.

3 Batsman who can be compared with Fab Four in Future!

KL Rahul

KL Rahul is currently one of the world’s best stroke makers. He strikes the ball smoothly and makes batting easy. Virat Kohli left his No. 3 position for Rahul, which reflects the talent of this young man. The 26-year-old player is now playing for India in all three formats.

The way he plays in recent IPL and in T20 series against England is something amazing. He is the second Indian to have two centuries in T20 and only the third Indian to score a century in all three formats. Rahul started his Test match against Australia in 2014. In his second match at SCG, he scored his first Test century.

When Australia visited India last year for 4 Test matches, Rahul scored 6 half-centuries in 7 innings and became India’s second highest run-getter. He scored a hundred on his ODI debut against Zimbabwe and batted at No. 4 against the West Indies at the T20 in Florida, chasing 240 he scored a magnificent hundred. Rahul’s technique is solid, which can make him successful in all three formats and this is why he has been placed at number 1 on this list.

Aiden Markram

In 2014, Aiden Markram led the South African Under-19 team to win the title. He was the leading run-scorer of the team in that tournament. He has strengthened his place in senior team now and currently he is an important member of the South African Test team.

Markram played in a 2 match Test series against Bangladesh last year and scored a lot. He scored 97 runs in his first innings before being dismissed but he scored his hundred in the second match.

The series in which he actually came to everyone’s attention was against Australia. He was the leading run-scorer for South Africa in the 4 match Test series which was full of controversy. He made two significant hundreds against the Australian bowling attack, which included Stark, Hazlewood, and Cummins.

In just 10 Test matches, Markram has scored 1000 runs at an average of 55.56 and scored 4 centuries. Although he has not played white ball cricket very much, he is a player to watch in the future because of his test statistics, which show that he is a long-term player.

Babar Azam

In Shorter format of the game, Babar Azam plays for Pakistan at number 3. After 25 matches he has scored more than anyone for Pakistan and in short time he has made name for himself.

When Azam scored consistently, eventually the search for Pakistan of No. 3 was completed. The 23-year-old batsman is currently the number 2 batsman in the ICC ODI rankings. He is currently the best batsman for Pakistan in the white-ball cricket.

After 41 ODIs, he has scored 1789 runs at an average of 51.11, which is better than Root, Smith, and Williamson. He has scored 7 centuries and 7 half-centuries. In the T20 format, he has played 20 matches and scored at a strike rate of 127.49 with an average of 53.

The only format in which he has not made his name is in the test format. But he has the potential and technique to succeed in this format also.

we are looking possibility here. Matching the standard of Fab Four is not a joke, they have come here with their immense hard work and self-belief. so let’s hope we will enjoy watching these 3 players like we do enjoy watching Fab Four.
